Unite for the Forgotten Kids of New Mexico, a benefit concert featuring Fernando Ortega, will be held Friday, September 10, at 6:30 PM at Popejoy Hall at the University of New Mexico. Join us as the city of Albuquerque gathers to support three crucial ministries that reach into the lives of kids in trouble. All proceeds go to benefit the ministries of Aspen Project (foster care and adoption), Five Stones International (human trafficking), and LifeQuest (incarcerated youth).

Fernando Ortega is noted for his contemporary interpretations of traditional hymns and praise songs. The moving lyrics and smooth melodies of his original music facilitate heartfelt praise of our Heavenly Father.

Come at 5:30 to visit the Ministry Expo where you'll learn more about how to reach the forgotten children in our community. Tickets are $25 or $50 and are available from the UNM ticket office by calling 925-5858 or at unmtickets.com.

In the early 70's, during the beginnings of what became known as the "Jesus Movement," a group of young musicians, desiring to express their new-found faith in Jesus Christ, formed a band called Love Song. Using a mixture of folk, rock, pop, and country, Love Song's music was entirely new and unique for the Christian music world.

Calvary of Albuquerque along with Pastor Chuck Smith and Pastor Skip Heitzig present The Love Song Band Outreach, Sunday, September 12, at 7:00 PM! You'll hear the music that impacted a generation and blazed the path for what we know today as contemporary Christian music. Don't miss it!

Find out what your love life was meant to be. Love Life is coming to the Kiva Auditorium, Saturday, October 9.

The Lovelife event features speaker Mark Driscoll, who will walk us through the 8 Chapters of The Song of Solomon. It's geared for: Adults 18 years and older, Married Adults, Single Adults and College Students. Whether you are newly married, married for years and may think that your marriage can't get any worse, or better, or perhaps you are a college student or single and want to have the most fulfilling marriage possible, the Song of Solomon is for you. It is God’s foundational and most intimate writing about how to:
• Attract and become the right kind of a person
• Date and then moving towards a serious relationship
• The gift of intimacy and sex, and why and how it can be such a blessing or such a struggle
• How to fight, because we all do, and how to grow closer through fight, not build a bigger wall between us

Hosted by Levi Lusko, with music by Donovan Medina. Don't miss it!
